Latinx Arts

For the last couple months I have been working on the experience for an App called: Latinx Arts. This app is a personal project to empower the Latinx artist around Washington state.

The Problem

There are multiple Latinx artists and events happening around WA state and there is not enough exposure to empower the Latinx community.

The Solution

Create an App which allows the artist to get more exposure and create more art without having the necessity to have their art on a gallery to be sold.

How it works

The App has two main users: 1- Artist and 2- Public.
The Artist will be able to create a profile, sell art and be a participant in an event. The Public with the help of VR will be able to preview the art on spaces using their phone before they buy it. The public also is able to follow an artist and see events.

What This Solves

It will solve a problem where to find Latinx artists and events in one place. This would empower the Latinx community, increase the number of attendees to events and generate an extra income for artists.

Objectives

More exposure to Latinx artist through the app where they can sell art;
Provide an interactive way for audiences to discover Latinx artist, festivals and events;
Make it easy for film fans to join waitlists and buy last minute tickets;
Help attendees navigate the festival’s growing list of venues and locations.
